I came across an intriguing case study by a SketchUp user while doing research for an article. If you aren’t familiar with SketchUp, you might be surprised by the sophistication of the end product in this example.
“I designed, modeled, and rendered [the project shown] in the course of about ten hours after dealing with all the collaborative studio-wide issues,” writes Lewis Wadsworth, a master’s degree student at the Yale School of Architecture. “I do not believe I could have finished the assignment if I had been using some other computer modeling program.”
