In a big win based on data-conversion technologies, AVEVA announces today that Petrobras, the national oil company of Brazil, will migrate legacy data at four refineries from Intergraph's PDS format to AVEVA PDMS. The cross-migration of plant design data has been a major push at AVEVA for quite some time. The Petrobras deal shows AVEVA has reached an industry leadership position on the cross-migration of design data.
