The variety of ways Google Earth can be used are just starting to be appreciated. Take for example, how Universal Studios is using it as a tool to promote the DVD release of King Kong. They've created a geography game called "Find Skull Island" that uses Google Earth as the game's backdrop.
Just for the record, (and for those of you who won't take the time to play), the Skull Island you find is a phony. It is an overlay set down in the middle of the southern Atlantic. And all this time I thought it was someplace off the coast of Sumatra.
