Today Autodesk announced that the installed base of Autodesk Revit Building software exceeds 100,000 seats. This is a significant milestone, and congratulations are in order, but the number can be misleading. For quite some time in its early days as an Autodesk product, Revit was bundled with Autodesk Architectural Desktop. So, while I am sure Revit use is growing (Autodesk has plenty of case studies available), I’m also sure there aren’t 100,000 actual Revit users out there—yet.
