Trelligence has updated its Affinity architectural programming and schematic design tool to support ArchiCAD 10.

I’ve been bullish on Affinity since I first saw it in 2004. Using it allows architects to integrate their initial schematic planning into the design process with BIM-type data integrity. As I wrote at the time:

One of the key themes we cover at AECnews is the importance of straight-through processing for all design data. All project information should be input once and only once, and used throughout the project lifecycle. Trelligence gets an A+ in our book for understanding the importance of being able to define, automate, manage and export all project information, and for introducing a product that doesn’t force builders or architects to substantially change their existing work processes.
