The former administrative manager of a company that provides business services to the Open Design Alliance was arrested Friday, October 13 and charged with 15 counts of forgery and two counts of theft following an investigation of suspected embezzlement at the Alliance.
William Charles Myers of Tempe, Arizona, is currently being held in a Maricopa, County, Arizona jail. Bond is set at $104,000. Arraignment is scheduled for October 20, 2006. Myers was an employee of Rayent Corporation from 2002 to February of this year. Rayent is contracted by Alliance Executive Director Evan Yares, who was recently placed on administrative leave by the Alliance board of directors.
