Gerding Collaborative, a small architectural firm in Georgia has married its use of virtual modeling for architecture with its passion for eco-friendly construction and achieved LEED Platinum certification.

The Sweetwater Creek State Park Visitor Center near Atlanta, Georgia is the first building project in the southeast US to earn LEED Platinum certification, the highest level of eco-friendly building achievement from the U.S. Green Building Council. Only around two dozen building projects worldwide have earned Platinum status.
