McNeel & Associates, developers of the versatile surface-modeling software Rhino, have announced an international gathering about the future of architecture, organized by Rhino enthusiasts from around the world. The international forum will be May 31 at the Delft Technical University Faculty of Architecture in Delft, the Netherlands.

Representatives of McNeel & Associates, including developers of the program, will be in attendance to hear about the needs and experiences of users. Attendees will see a presentation on how architecture firms and studios including UN Studio, Mecanoo and ARUP make use of Rhino. Other attendees include the TU Delft Faculty of Architecture, TU Eindhoven Faculty of Architecture, Octatube, Benthem Crouwel, and MVRDV.

“Much of the success of Rhino is based on the interaction of users and developers on the McNeel online newsgroup,” said Bob McNeel, President and CEO. “Our users do form an important community. Live events like this continue this dialog. The forum is for anyone who is interested in seeing more of what other people have done in Rhino, and what might be possible in the future.”
