Bloomberg.com is reporting today that Plant IT vendor AVEVA may spend as much as $430 million to acquire a company that will help it sell applications to the construction industry.
``We've got some things in our sights that we're very keen on,'' AVEVA CEO Richard Longdon told a Bloomberg reporter in Shanghai, China. Longdon said the target ``would already be a profitable business,'' without giving more details.
